The Best Machine Learning Startups To Work For In 2021 According To Glassdoor – Forbes

AVORA, Codesmith, FairMarkIT, Protenus and Ravelin are the most likely to be recommended by their employees to friends looking for a machine learning startup to work for in 2021 based on each company’s Glassdoor ratings.        
97% of the employees of the 15 highest rated machine learning startups would recommend their company to a friend looking for a new job and 98% approve of their CEOs based on the most current Glassdoor ratings.  
Across all machine learning startups with Glassdoor ratings, 79% of employees would recommend the startup they work for to a friend and 84% approve of their CEO. 
There are 6,039 machine learning startups in Crunchbase today, with 3,537 having seed, early-stage and late-stage venture financing. 

These and many other insights are from a Crunchbase Pro analysis completed today using Glassdoor data to rank the best machine learning startups to work for in 2021. According to LinkedIn’s 2020 Emerging Jobs Report, demand for Artificial Intelligence Specialists has grown 74% in the last four years. Demand for Data Scientists has seen a 37% growth in the same period. Indeed’s latest average reported base salary of a Machine Learning engineer in the U.S. is $146,085. The job site found the number of machine learning engineer openings grew by 344% between 2015 and 2018.
Glassdoor’s Most Recent Ratings Define The Best Startups
In response to readers’ most common requests of which machine learning startups are the best to work for, a Crunchbase Pro query was created to find all machine learning startups who had received Seed, Early Stage Venture, or Late Stage Venture financing. Next, the funding stage, total funding amount and the latest funding rounds were used to calculate each startup’s funding velocity, factoring in Crunchbase Trend Scores.

Next, Glassdoor scores of the (%) of employees who would recommend their employer to a friend and (%) of employees who approve of the CEO provide insights into the best startups to work for. 77 of the top 150 machine learning startups have 15 or more Glassdoor reviews and are included in the analysis. 43 have less than 15 reviews and 30 have no reviews.
